DentalArt installed air purifiers with HEPA filters

For your safety, DentalArt Medical Clinic has installed air purifiers with HEPA filters, which clean the air of bacteria and viruses. In addition, we have the usual routines, with measurement of body temperature, alcohol and protective clothing, in addition to other routines for the Covid-19.

HEPA filters are composed of a mesh of randomly arranged fibers. The fibers are composed of fiberglass, with diameters between 0.5 and 2 μm. The most important factors to consider in a HEPA filter are the diameter of the fibers, the thickness of the filter and the velocity of the particles. The space between the fibers is much larger than 0.3 μm, but it is incorrect the common sense that the HEPA filter functions as a sieve, in which particles smaller than the larger aperture can pass through it. Unlike membrane filters, where particles with the same width of the distance between fibers, HEPA filters are designed to retain contaminants and much smaller particles therefore being the standard for extremely safe filtration.
